Mobile broadband is a technology now becoming more competitive to cable, ADSL & NBN types of connections all over the world. And with time, it will surely start covering more MarketShare.
3G mobile internet:
NTT DoCoMo launched the first commercial 3G mobile network on 1st October 2001.
In 2017, we were able to achieve faster than the 3G mobile network with 4G mobile broadband, with speeds of up to, and sometimes over 100Mbps. Since 2018, Telstra and other ISPs (Internet Service Providers) have been moving into 5G networks. 5G mobile has the ability to perform data transfer and data file download speed up to 1Gbps, insane, right.
Currently on the Gold Coast, like most of the country, many ISPs are finding it very hard to keep up with the customer demands, and having to upgrade infrastructure and systems continually. This no doubt costs a lot of money.
Many people feel tricked or failed by the Government since NBN came out, and are now looking for better alternatives. You might feel mobile broadband is the right solution for you, but bear in mind it can be quite expensive if there is a lot of data usage. Streaming TV (such as Netflix) or online gaming can really use a lot of data. So if you are considering switching from fixed-line internet to mobile broadband, we recommend finding out how much data you are currently using per month, in order to work out what it will cost.
We at TSS Telco believe that over the next 10 years, more and more home users will opt for mobile broadband for in-home usage. As Australian users, we will need to wait for price adjustments to lift to be able to supply the high data usage requirements. There is a good chance that many people will transfer from traditional hardwired NBN to mobile, which is wireless technology, as there is a minimal barriers with the installation.
Tss Telco’s quality of service is maintained by always focusing on what’s best for our valuable customers. We look at how to improve work, study and leisure time, and then find the best solution for your budget.
